Dr. Elena Ruiz, DDS, MS
Dr. Ruiz founded Meridian Orthodontics with a vision of a practice where families feel informed and genuinely welcome. More than a decade later, that vision still guides every plan the team makes.
She treats the full range of orthodontic care, with a special love for early treatment and helping nervous young patients discover that a visit can be calm and even fun. Her patients often say she is the reason their kids look forward to their appointments.

Away from the practice
Outside the practice, Dr. Ruiz is a devoted hiker and can usually be found on a trail in Umstead State Park with her two kids and a very slow beagle.
